Apoi-dake Hiking: Experience the Rich Forests and Seas of Apoi
Located in Japan's largest national park, the Hidakasanmyaku-Erimo-Tokachi National Park, Mount Apoi offers a unique experience.
Although only 810 meters in elevation, this low mountain is home to around 80 species of alpine plants and rich natural beauty. Nearly 20 of these species are endemic, making the percentage of unique plant life on this mountain the highest in the world.
This special program combines hiking with guided commentary, allowing you to learn the story of how local residents protect and preserve this exceptional natural environment.

Other times can be arranged upon request. ※ The hike reaches "Uma no Se" (Horse’s Back), but beyond that, the route depends on the participants' fitness levels. 8:00 Meet at Mt.
