Shikabe Town 鹿部町

Gaze out at Mt. Koma-ga-Take and Funka Bay in the town of sea and hot springs.

This fishing town is overflowing with scallops, kombu (kelp) and Alaska pollack roe.
After the fishermen of the village bring back the day’s catch, you can join their wives, the “mothers of the seashore”, to make an amazing meal.
