The Takaramusubi Crest has been thought to bring good tidings since long ago in Japan.
The crest is a uniquely Japanese shape used to wrap treasure, often adorning the area of a celebration or a gift.
It is filled with well-wishes for endless prosperity, longevity and good fortune.
The Hokkaido Takara Web logo uses the Takaramusubi Crest as a motif to symbolize of our theme, “Encountering Hokkaido’s prosperous culture and people”.
